What is your role within the Bohusbanan project?
I have been the project manager since the summer of 2023.
How long have you been working with Eiffage Infra-Nordic?
I started as a project engineer for the project in February/March 2023.
How is the project progressing?
It is moving forward, although there have been significant changes in the conditions regarding rock quality
and the dimensions of the tunnels, leading to the work taking longer than initially planned for.
Could you elaborate on that?
The rock excavation has increased from the initially calculated 80m³ in an area of 330m² to around 2200m³
in an area of 2,000-3,000m², which is a dramatic increase.
What are you currently working on in the project?
Currently, we are focused on completing the rock excavation. Concrete and shotcrete work are underway,
and construction of the new tunnel portals has begun.
